Overview
HawkCell is an imaging MRI service for preclinical studies on large animals (pigs, dogs, etc.). With our own dedicated 1.5T MRI system upgraded with HawkCell’s technology, we provide rapid, precise and quantitative information.
Our technology unlocks in vivo quantification of physiological parameters such as brain or liver metabolites, tumor volumes, inflammation, fat fraction… on a wide range of animals from rats to pigs (up to 150kg) during longitudinal studies. Following animals through time help to reduce biological variability, to boost biostatistics power and to drastically decrease the number of animals per study. Our imaging platform is based in Lyon within a 2000m2 secured facility dedicated for preclinical studies. In conformity with AAALAC and BPL-like procedures, studies are carried out with respect of all ethical considerations and wellness of animals.
